Canterbury and Saint-Denis Virtual Cathedral Project

A virtual, interactive, construction of Canterbury Cathedral is the digital centerpiece of online learning environment for university students and researchers. This digitization project is a collaboration of the Visual Resources Library, OIT Special Projects Lab, History Department, and Medieval Institute at Western Michigan University.

Using digital images and multimedia software, the project team is developing web-based instructional resources to allow students in different classes to learn how to “read” and analyze the visual vocabulary of the medieval world. For more information please visit the project’s Web site.
